Hello all,
This is my first time ever reaching out to any type of support/social group affiliated with military wives. I am eagerly excited to join this site and wish to gain as much knowledge as possible of Hawaii and hopefully build new friendships.

My husband just recieved orders to Hawaii and we should be arriving there, along with our 2 pugs (hopefully)mid November 2010. We are both from San Antonio, Texas and are currently stationed in Quantico, VA.

Any other Marine wives out there who's husbands worked at TBS in Quantico or who are attached to 1/3?
I have heard that 1/3 has just arrived back from Afghanistan and will be deploying, again, sometime next Spring.( My husband will be be deploying as well. )

In the meantime, I have been dealing with getting ready for the quarantine process for my two pugs, Oliver and Lola. They are the cutest, silliest, stinkiets pugs ever. :)

Can anyone give me advice as to what to look out for or be cautious with the proccess? I have already read through the 5-day-or less checklist and am starting all paperwork/vaccines now.

Also, I am transfering to Windward College. Is anyone going to school out there?


Auughh there is so much to write and I am excited to get to know as many people who would like to chat!
