Hawaii Military Wives will always stay true to it’s roots. We are run by military spouses, for military spouses and we intend on supporting military spouses! We wanted to give you an opportunity to get to know one of our sponsors, a real estate agent and Army spouse who works with Keller Williams. We encourage you to support other military spouses and their businesses!
“I am married to my husband Eric a Blackhawk Pilot in the Army for more than 15 years. We have previously been stationed in Germany, California, Alabama, Korea and are on our second assignment in Hawaii. We have 3 children ages 4, 13 and 17 years and I am more than familiar with all the stress and excitement that comes with a military move. We first moved to Hawaii in 2002 and lived here for almost 6 years. We have lived on post, off-post, we rented, and we now own a home here in Ewa Beach. Our kids are in private school now but have previously attended public school both on and off post in Hawaii. We are very plugged in to the local community, not just the military, and can provide a wealth of information for incoming military families.
I have always had an interest in Real Estate even as a child. I would sneak into new construction to investigate the floor plans and visualize how to stage the space in each room. I received my real estate license in 2008. I am an accredited buyers agent (ABR) and I’m working on my military relocation designation. I work for Keller Williams, the largest real estate company in the United States. I am concentrating on the Ewa Beach/Kapolei area of the island. I have an outstanding team behind me with a tremendous amount of experience to incl. the former president of the Hawaiian board of Realtors. If I have a client who wants to purchase outside the Ewa/Kapolei area I will work with an agent that is an expert in this particular neighborhood in order to provide outstanding service to my clients.
Moving overseas or to Hawaii is even more stressful on families since Hawaii is so isolated and far from most of the soldiers families. Additionally, buying a house in Hawaii can be tricky and I am here to help avoid costly mistakes. My goal as a Realtor is to provide outstanding service and make a move to the islands a low-stress, fun and exciting experience. I go above and beyond and provide services unlike other Realtors. I am willing to videotape neighborhoods to give my clients a better idea of what to expect and what kind of lifestyle certain neighborhoods will provide. I am also willing to help with the transportation from the airport to the hotel if needed. We learned on our last move here to Hawaii that this trip can be very difficult with kids, pets and suitcases. I also send relocation guides to all incoming personnel. My slogan is Serving YOU with Aloha!
The most rewarding aspect of my profession is knowing that I have been part of a pleasant home buying experience. The relationships that develop between my clients and myself are often long lasting. I take pride in being part of the Home buying experience, particularly those of military families moving so far away from their roots. Seeing the smiles on peoples faces and their gratitude for my work and knowing I was part of the experience is worth more than gold.
